JB, I am willing to bet 40 plus or minus $3 is a bottom.
To me that is close enough to a bottom but i want to hear the guidance from the company after the merger first...a small change makes me more bullish...a big change and I would still buy but only less.

To me it becomes a better or even safer buy near current levels than some of the lower PE stocks like SUNW, CSCO, MSFT, INTC.

I would note that I am also in other sectors and feel comfortable with the added risk in optical. I would be reluctant to put everything into this sector of course.

Same pack of networkers. People unable to differentiate between companies. A herd headed in same direction.....

" A networker is a networker..."

The problem is that the naz is still historically quite over-valued. Point? This may be a temporary bottom but as the soft economy plays its music investors will respond with further selling before this is over.
