Good morning Peter. Thanks for that info about the ADX.

I'll do some more reading about it before I start trying to use it.

It could be quite valuable as you describe it.

I haven't read Dr. Elder's book, though I've seen it recommended.
May add it to my library.

Cush

Hi Guys & Gals,

I just thought I would review what I have learned in T.A. analysis. Ya might want to treat this as some sort of index of my learnings...

Most of what I have learned I either picked up on this thread, or Teresa Lo's thread (in terms of patterns & use of the ADX), my other readings have included of course, John Murphy & James Elder) & course the ability to review & (now annotate) stockcharts.com & Quicken Quotes (formally Mach 6 for realtime stuff). I keep the macro vision alive with the help of the John Pitera thread Subject 32953

I would like to thank Cush for all the time & work that he put in to get this thread going. It was reading Cush's thread that gave me the idea ('cause he alluded to some of them... to check out other indicators.) & it was very interesting & educational to learn that other people really want to truly learn...

Maybe that is why James Dines still uses it. BWTFDIK
