Hi Mike: I have asked him to expand on his opinion and to point out the area's where he feel you are incorrect.
Should we receive information of substance I will post a link here.
Changing subject - the forthcoming financial results - it is my take that we will have higher revenues, much higher expenses and a substantial loss. You you have an opinion or a projection?
John

San Francisco Chronicle mistakenly says OMC uses OCP:

Hopefully everyone is now convinced SUV's are a big rollover risk. Don't shuttle your kids around in one unless you truly use it off road or for towing. Even if you can afford to fuel it and have no guilt about what's spewing out the tailpipe.

As to worrying about Bombardier selling Ficht, don't kid yourselves. Even "Ram" Ficht is inferior to OCP. Ram makes Ficht workable, but they still don't have near the control over combustion OE has, the injector is less reliable, and the injector is also more prone to fouling. As if all this weren't enough, Ficht costs more. And it's no coincidence that OMC is now requiring owners to use a special Ficht oil to avoid the engine failures caused by piston scuffing. They're also having to deliver oil to engine parts in a manner that Mercury doesn't. It's inferior. It's just too late to start re-engineering the motors OMC builds for themselves, Kawasaki, and Polaris. PWC manufacturing is a low margin business with declining volumes. I don't see Bombardier re-engineering their motors with Ficht, even though it's "fixed", and even though they need to promote their new ownership of it. They've got enough to worry about with Honda launching 4S PWC's in six months.
