I suggest shorting optical because neither SCMR nor CIEN has warned, to the best of my knowledge. I believe both will. SCMR reports tomorrow. 1) They warn 2) They lie It's as simple as that. Gilder (I am a subscriber) totally bashed CIEN in the latest report. 1/3 of report or so was CIEN bashing. This in light of the fact that he was a CIEN supporter for years. CIEN was removed off his buy list (not that anyone buys off his buy list anymore). Gilder now no longer likes CIEN's technology. Playing (wrongly) for the bounce today, I unloaded CIEN puts, but mainly towards the lows, so I am pleased. I will probably add some back tomorrow, but not nearly as many.
