Got me there. Now you know my real name.

They were not counted by machine.

Some counties do count (that is provide totals of) rejected ballots.

Florida law recommends that these votes be counted by hand in a close election.

Candidate can request it. The request can be granted or denied. I don't recall anything in the law recommending it in absence of machine malfunction.

They were never counted by hand. Not once.

And your point is?

The SOS was in defiance of Florida law.
