Personally I don't really care if my order execution is in the same application as my charting application.

Unless one is a 1 minute bar or LII scalper, i can't see what the added benefit is, and surely Omega will not be the cream of the crop when it comes to order entry and execution, if for no other reason that they are new to the game.

So for me, a long time TradeStation user, I just don't care that much.

TS Pro has some appealing futures in store - but they will have to prove that they can do a better job at managing data than I can (all older TradeStation users manage their own data). So far, that hasn't been the case, and until they support Futures, it won't matter at all to me.

TS Pro has all the compelling abilities of TradeStation 2000i when it comes to charting and application development; so there are definite positives there.

For now, I'm happy to stick with eSignal for data supply and on-demand charing; TradeStation 2000i for sophisticated charting (driven by eSignal); and seperate order entry interfaces for futures and stocks. Works for me.

Your mileage may vary!

cheers
Michael

Pierre,

Is your TS feed currently dead in the water? mine is, has been since the open. My broker quotes, and qcharts are streaming so my internet connect is ok. Also, I tried inputting the server addresses for the WOW data servers, but they will not accept a log on from TS pro. (the TS servers are in Florida, the WOW servers are in Texas.) It would be nice if you could log into the Texas servers when the Florida ones are down.
