Dumb statistic of the day

At least I try to put pricing of DRAM in meaningful context not like carl with his weekly updates.
RDRAM is now cheaper than all types of DRAM used on pC's except for SDRAM. When Micron stops dumping SDRAM below cost (see recent posts on thread) and P4 continues to ramp up with RDRAM (wiping out most of the excess SDRAM manufacturing capacity that gave rise to the glut of SDRAM in the spot market as Toshiba and NEC come online with more RDRAM), the price differential which looks huge now will narrow dramatically.
If prices for SDRAM do not go back up to traditional price points, Hyundai will cease to exist as an ongoing entity under the weight of it's ever increasing debts created by selling SDRAM below cost and then SDRAM will surely go back up in price if you remove 20% of the total DRAM capacity that Hyundia represents.
