That was foolish of the government. Total agreement here. Recreational users pose no threat to me. As for impairment, which seems to be the first thing people think of when you talk about decriminalization, I'm against it.

I don't think people should be able to drive with a cheeseburger in one hand, fries in their lap and a coke in the other hand. They shouldn't be able to drive with active mental illness. They shouldn't be able to drive tired. My solution was that all people would have to perform some dexterity test if pulled over by an officer.

The officer could then say, "I'm sorry Mr. Citizen, you had two hands holding food and a bag of fries between your legs. That's the way you have to take the test." If you can't pass the test, then you were impaired.
