Pete, I just own Korea in some of my diversified Asian funds, but not a large chunk. I still dislike their dependence on the chip market, which has yet to stink its final stink, IMHO. I used to like Fidelity Korean the best, but they open ended it. I made a profit, but it is no more. Korean Equity (KEF) is the cheapest and some day they may even hire a portfolio manager who is awake. <g> Korean Investment is the best managed fund of the three, but its discount has fallen to 7%. KF is the middle ground on discount and on management ability, but not far off the leader on either. It looks like the best choice right now.
