<< What your opinion on pursuing a consumer digital video tape recorder? >> They already exist, Glen. JVC and Panasonic have mini dv ( I think they are called) decks for about $1200 - 1500. Sony has a different format for about $3,000. I think a lower priced consumer format would be a natural...and will probably come before too long as those prices decline briskly. On the royalty front, the one thing I am really rooting for is their DVD efforts. If they can get a foothold ? High growth potential.
