Well thanks again, i didn't know about the site saying Argentina and Uruguay were open for business ... i don't know about U but there is a lot of trading happening in A ... there are paisanos from both places around here but none to my knowledge involved with stocks in any way, just people we meet at the dances ..... still, one i'll pass this to, you never know, and i'll check it out myself asap.

If there is actual arms-length-client trading going through the SEG site we don't know for sure about it .... here's a bit relayed to me, purportedly from TC and paraphrased from memory - 'We will release no figures for SEG trading before the FY00 financials which should be posted around March something' ... this was in response to a specific question i had written down - 'How many trades have gone/are going through SEG?' ... the reason given for the non-answer was concern regarding selective disclosure ... so there ya are - maybe it's working and maybe it's not.

There is a guy named Jaime something over in International section of SI, quite a smart lad, an argentino i believe ... i should look him up and ask him for a pick on Buenos Aires, maybe eh .... don't have too many more beer cans to cash in though, same problem as you.
