The black center line seems to be active
12/19 as a resistance line
slight penatration then reversal on 12/28
longer penetration then reversal on 1/4
acting as support on 1/22 and 2/5

Granted the red fork is new and untested.

I think that the first test will be soon and will be able to be observed if it acts as resistance to a move up. I think that it will.

One reason for the validity of the red fork is that the center line is very close to the last decending trend line that everybody noticed. Nearly the same line. This fork proposes that that trend line is now the lower line of the new down trend channel.

One way or the other, one of the two forks will be violated by 3/2 at the latest. That would be the last day of overlap. (at 1301 SPX cash)
