Israel, for some reason, many investment analysts and investors who follow the analysts are not impressed with SNDK trading at a PE slightly above 6, at a time when its annual earnings growth remains close to 50 percent. For some reason, few investors are interested in the fact that SanDisk has postive cash flow, low debt, and book value per share related to share price that is much higher than average for the whole market, much less the technology sector. Such ridiculous anomalies appear to be characteristic of this unusual market. Even if one builds in the most negative assumptions about future growth, including the need to reduce inventories, and assuming slower than expected growth in demand for removable flash memory, it still doesn't explain why there is so little investor interest in this stock.
