How much tax currently does this person pay???? and what tax will this person pay with President Bush's plan????? From the very slanted article you posted from the Seattle PI----Just maybe Bush will find time to explain to that single mom of whom he speaks -- the one who earns $22,000 a year and has two children -- just why the U.S. government cannot assure that her kids will learn in a safe, clean and superior school or why their grandmother cannot get her prescription filled because we need the money to give a tax break to a billionaire.

Dear Mr. Palau: Are you aware that once the tax cut as envisioned by Bush is enacted the richest share of taxes as a percentage of the total paid will INCREASE?? That is because the percentage reduction is GREATEST at the lower rates. For the first time in history of income tax a family of 4 with 30k of income will pay no income taxes. Now, this is a problem for the dems so they have to throw PAYROLL TAX into the equation. Dont blame Bush for PR tax he has nothing to do with that. JDN
