Funny how this system works. The CEO of DLJ (which recently merged with CSFB) sits on the board of AMD and Jerry Sanders (CEO of AMD) sits on the board of DLJ [ed: ???]. CSFB now holds a lot of AMD's debt and they know it could easily become worthless paper. I would not be surprised to see CSFB/DLJ upgrade AMD to a strong buy. They have pulled this stunt before. [if memory serves, csfb downgraded intel, I don't know what they did, if anything, with Amd.]
