re: the above quote: it all depends on how much you have riding on your stocks. you were one of two folks who were kind enough to divulge your overall asset allocations when i asked on the other thread last fall, i believe. and it is clear that all stocks can go to zero and it wouldn't impact your lifestyle too much. that info helps me put your posts in perspective. i have also been pretty up front with such info, and i hope it helps other folks put my posts in better perspective.

at any rate, i didn't see the cnbc interview, but i still am feeling proud for my friend. :))
