The calculation is purely numerical - based on an increase in the number of posts over past posting rates.

We're still on the Hot List - SI must be very slow.-g-

So, I sent a deposit to my web site developer, but when I told him the name of the site he was underwhelmed.

Satellite-internet.com

He doesn't like the hyphen and it's too long, he says. But satelliteinternet was taken by SatTel. All the obvious names are taken, like SatNet, NetSat, etc., etc. I have also registered steelmoons.com, which is a good name but satellites are not made of steel, too heavy - the antennaes are steel, though. And I have also registered siliconmoons.com. Cybermoons is taken. Aluminummoons is available but I hate the double m.

I hate to admit it but I've also got satellitegazette.com, satellitepost.com, satellect.com, and satellingo.com

I would get these brainstorms in the wee hours of the morning, which don't seem so brilliant in retrospect.
