What if we simply reduce Clinton's pension if the national debt increased during his tenure in office. If it did increase then he would simply be helping to pay it off. If it didn't he is home free. Fair?

<<<Only if they were sensible enough to punish him in a way that is commensurate to his crimes/misdemeanours>>

I do not think that was the problem. Clintons crime are way beyond the pale for a president. Look what he has done to the office. Does he have any respect left from thinking people? I do not want to go through the litany of crimes he has committed but insist that he has not been punished to fit these crimes. A response that he has not convicted of anything does not wipe the slate clean. The balls of the senate and a friendly attorney general is the cause of this.
