Forget politics for a moment. Good management doe not mean doing everything by oneself. Nor taking credit for everything. The C.E.O. of a well managed company know he can't know or do everything. One works with and through other people. The final decision is made by the head person who is fully responsible for it should something go wrong. When a leader takes credit for all that goes right but is never to blame for failures, he is not really a good leader.
