I agree with this. Sparcs should not be a problem, and apparently the Alpha design has been dis-entangled from the very high performance process of the Hudson fab. I don't know how much Samsung had duplicated the process used there, but if IBM is fabbing them, changes definitely have been made. Hmm, maybe that is why the speed of Alphas stalled so abruptly...

And no, I didn't think you were being snippy. I just had totally mis-interpeted where you were going with that previous post.
