Part of our audio strategy is to continue to track the SDMI process, but to concentrate our internal development efforts with our joint development partner, TTR Technologies, on copy protection technologies for audio CDs, a market we believe to have, in time, large revenue potential for both Macrovision and TTR. We have received a commitment from one of the major record labels to conduct internal beta trials with our SafeAudio product during the next 45 days. We are in discussions with other independent labels to conduct further testing in the March /April timeframe. A near term objective for the SafeAudio program is to deploy Macrovision developed encoding software modules at replicators to upgrade audio CD production and test equipment. We are taking these steps in order to automate SafeAudio copy protection in the CD ROM production environment. We want to be prepared for rapid commercialization and deployment of SafeAudio if the beta trials are successful.
