Floyd is a long-time bear, ya know. A good market analyst, too. I remember him from "The Andy Griffith Show." He used to give Barney stock tips. He was less bearish back then.

KLAC's daily candle has turned into a shooting star. If that holds for the rest of the day, it's in trouble. That's what can happen when the longer-term trend is down, I suppose. Looking at the intraday chart, I thought it might bounce at 39 1/2 or 39. So far, it isn't looking very strong. Longer term, a sell signal is about to kick in for MACD 13/34/89. That's one reason it was dangerous. I wish Arthur Tang would join in here and say more about the fundies for the semis. AMAT tanked today, too. I didn't trade KLAC, btw. Was just keeping an eye on it.
