Re: CSFB downgraded intel with such info as that .13 is not going to be ready for mass production for another 9 months. After IBM, Motorola, and AMD each took roughly two years to bring their first copper FABs online, if Intel is really running volume 9 months from now they'll have done an excellent job. Doing something after the rest of the industry has been doing it for several years is always easier, (knowledge spreads, particularly to the tool makers) - but they only broke ground on their copper FABs last year. They're still doing a great job if they're online before next year. There may be enough volume from development lines to maintain a presence in the high end mobile chip area. Dan

That's really strange, because it doesn't say anything like that here: upside.com "Glavin said he downgraded Intel, which reiterated its earlier revenue guidance on Monday, because he believes a substantial recovery in 2001 is unlikely. He lowered his price target on the stock to $33, which is $1.56 less than Monday's closing price. He said margins for the chip giant could suffer as it moves to more Pentium 4 chips, which are more expensive to make than its Pentium IIIs. Margins could also diminish as the price war with rival Advanced Micro Devices (AMD: +0.28, 24.28) continues, he said." So, I don't see anything stated about your "claim" of a 9 month delay in 0.13u. Can you please provide a link to where you saw this? Semi
