thoughts, I bought and sold during the morning, back in again, in high 42's. Have only scanned product announcements so far.

Question does ntap have a year lead over competition in product developement?

If so they have a significant edge over others coming on with hardware alone. Get my drift

futures are the key in here, ntap holding up well,

Greenspan will set the tone that he is fully conizant of and behind the growth of 21 century global growth , but he will do it in his own low key way.

he just pumped global growth a second ago

Positioning.

Note the new redefinition of what NetApp's all about. It's not a "NAS" play anymore:

<<<Network Appliance solutions are about delivering data and content to meet our customers' needs," said Mark Santora, senior vice president of marketing at Network Appliance. "We manage data and content to provide core-to-edge solutions that encompass the full breadth of requirements in the storage market.>>>

This positions NetApp away from the generic, low margin NAS filer market.

Of course, this isn't new information to anyone who's been paying attention, but I still like seeing it.
