Respectfully, I disagree. An employer that violates the federal Warn Act is liable to each aggrieved employee for backpay and certain employee benefits for up to 60 days. 29 U.S.C. § 2104(a). If anyone were to go see a lawyer about this, it might help if you told her that the Act allows the Judge to award attorneys fees as part of the costs.
