Marvin,

I don't see it happening at all. You would need to be doing some serious "Fed Fighting".....I think you would need a war or bio-terrorism stuff......maybe a killer astoriod....or something.

I think the Naz is oversold now.....and the market has yet to respond to the 100 basis points in cuts that have already happened.....or the 100 yet to come.

I'm buying IDX now because I think both the Naz and the Dow will begin moving very soon......and also because I think IDX will begin releasing information that will indicate that IT revenues will be growing much faster than McCashin indicated in guidence he gave on the last conference call. (imagine a positive earnings warning)

And I think the TP-2000 will ship this quarter....Backlog?)

I think these developments will show that IDX's businesses are not subject to a general IT slowdown. I think IDX's services division will be strong this year....and that the TP-2000 will make the Live Scan division do well......and the IT Division will show very strong percentage growth.

I think right now is not the time to be out of IDX. IDX could get something in writing from Motorola or Microsoft or others....at any time now....IMO.

Too much stuff could hit the fan....to not be loaded with IDX. I would love to see $7.00 for another round of buying and some serious option play chances....but I really don't think it's in the cards.

Today, I picked up 300 common shares and option contracts to buy another 1,000 shares in June.

ps. The reviews of some of these finger scan "lunch" programs and a few college campus programs are showing that students DO NOT seem to have a problem with biometrics.......and that they, in fact, want to see more of it.

I think this is surprising.......and that when a biometric cell phone is introduced....we may find much less obections from Ratman than we might have expected.

I don't know about you....but I want a biometric cell phone....and I know 6 other guys who want one too....and will buy one the moment one hits the market.....(as long as it's IDX's?)
