BTW, why exactly did you give up piloting for Ship's Captain, Ramblin dude? Inquiring minds want to know. I love em both.......but alas.....can't do it all.......only have time for one or the other. The cost is pretty equal. It was the family thing too. The family didn't enjoy flying as much as I did. They got bored with it. I taught my kids how to land the plane in case something should happen to me in flight, but after that, they lost interest. The wife didn't want anything to do with the controls. <g> Big chicken! <g> Plus, as my wife always reminds me........Our boat is much safer. ....for the same price as our boat, I could have had a brand new Mooney Ovation, with all the bells and whistles.........still dream about it sometimes. <g> But the wife couldn't entertain .......and the kids couldn't ride the jet ski's and swim. ....and I never would have made Vice Commodore! :0) Ramblin n still got the cyber skies
