Fyo: I nominate Niceguy and RedBird to be hired for AMD's Marketing and PR (also known as Propaganda) Department.. From what I see.. they'd do a smashing job

Fyo, Re: Please don't tell my AMD renamed LDT "HyperTransport".... Next thing you know it'll be HyperNow! Technology!!!

I agree, HyperTransport sounds terrible. But with InfiniBand, NetBurst and Hyper staged pipelines AMD probably didn't have much choice. I'm looking forward to buy a GeForce X Ultra Pro for MegaHyperTransport bus running on an Athlon II Professional in a few years.

Fyo,

Please don't tell my AMD renamed LDT "HyperTransport"

It looks like they did. I personally prefer LDT over HyperTransport (or HT).

Either way, with Nvidia and ATI onboard LDT (or HT), the future looks even more promising.
