One of the things that I would look for is long term viability. Lots of the hardcore techs can get wiped out by the classic disruptive technologies, so I am not sure that I want to expose JXN's college fund to any more of that...ahem. With that being said, I believe that GLW has long term viability and that in 15 years, it is likely that all buildings, including homes, will have glass data connections rather than copper. GLW would be my pick...regardless of the current technical breakdown.
