All, Funny Intel should turn up (and go down). I just saw a John Fowler post over there on the intc thread. Wasn't he an old deccie? Anyone think intel will go back to a historic p/e range of 8 to 17? Serves them right for taking DEC's technology to make the Pentium. As for Tom's gold, I don't see a case for it for a while unless there is an international crisis. Growth is slowing, inflation is going down again, and Bush won't be able to pass a large spending bill for quite a while to change that. I reserve the right to deny I said any of that if gold doubles. gd
