Aus,

Just posted the EK article as a minor matter of interest. I think Kodak is a fish out of water in digital right now. Most of the people buying digi cams are paying $400+, a photo enthusiast price point. It's the market where the Nikons and Olympuses have always been strong. When digi cams reach the mainstream, well under $100, Kodak may have a chance for some volume.

More interesting, I just got back from the local Office Depot. Out of their 7 San Disk SKU's, they only had 80 MB CF in stock, even the card readers were out of stock. As SanDisk is their only supplier (except Sony MS), this has to be very bad for Office Depot and SanDisk. From a retailer's or a manufacturer's point of view, a very ugly situation, with potential sales evaporating everyday.

I'm beginning to suspect an operations problem at SanDisk.
