We are not in a recession. You heard it from Mr. Greenspan. I tried to explain this to Zoltan for the past two months but he desperately wanted a recession he could blame on the Clinton Administration. I hope all of you have read the article from Mr Reuben outlining his opposition to the large tax cut being proposed by Bush. We must stay the course of fiscal responsibility. The Fed has a lot of room to lower interest rates because of the fiscal responsibility that has been displayed by both branches of government. People will refinance homes which will free up cash. Businesses will borrow to invest. We do not need a large tax cut to prevent a recession. Today's figure on retail sales is great news. We will not have a recession.

I have lived in 4 other countries. while living in these countries my allegiance was not to them. Was this wrong? Was there a problem? Not sure what you mean but if you are saying should one live here and participate in all the advantages and be "disloyal", then I would say no.
