yes, it's slightly below...but the violation isn't deep enough to count yet.

agree though that deflationary forces are raging, and i fully expect another '98 like deflation scare to eventually assert itself.
only it won't be as simple imo...i.e., not all sectors will fall prey to deflation at the same time.

how far the Fed will go with its easings can best be deduced from the shape of the yield curve...assuming that the long maturities don't experience a massive sell-off, i could see the FF rate going to less than 3% eventually.
