It seemed extreme to me, too, but that's what "human life begins at conception" implies, and that's what Ashcroft proposed to write into the Constitution. I imagine "morning after" pills would be subject to some war on drugs variant under that regime, too, even in cases of rape and incest.

The Dalkon shield wasn't the only IUD, there always were better alternatives, but then, you know pretty well how red herring arguments work, don't you, bp?
