I guess the difference between tech and biotech seems to be that one is sensitive to economic cycles and the other (biotech) is apparent not. Doesn't answer the valuation question. Tech is a lot better than biotech in this environment, IMHO. (of course it never hurts to add exposure to the biotech holdrs--i think it is bbh on amex)

MYGN has the best yeast two hybrid technology team in the nation and has discovered several genes involved in some fatal human diseases. They also have a product called pro net which is one of the best databases to look for signal transduction pathways on the protein level. It's overvalued right now, but this is one of those companies that I believe that can justify its valuation down the road. I will add AFFX to the list that will see its cap halfed in years. larry
