This out of stock situation isn't new, it's been going on since before Christmas. And there is really no excuse. Most retail inventory management systems can respond to a spike in sales rates within a couple of weeks, then figure a couple of weeks tops to place, process, ship and receive orders. I guarantee the retailers are clamoring for product, the last thing they want is to disappoint a customer who went to the trouble to visit their store, and then has to go to a competitor to get what they need. Good way to lose customers. SanDisk, like every vendor, gets graded for the out of stocks they cause.

It sure appears that something is funky at SanDisk.
