I think that hedge funds took Greenspan's comments as a reason to short the market.

IMHO, the market misunderstood. I believe Greenspan will drop rates before the next meeting UNLESS the Naz starts rallying.

Shorts are pushing this as much as possible but I am betting on a rebound by tomorrow at the latest.

Am not ruling out a positive close on the Naz by day end although it looks doubtful. A good economy means profits in tech are less at risk and that should be taken as a positive.
