Aus, re: "Thirty percent of US digicam sales originate at BestBuy?" That is pretty shocking. Especially when you consider all the different types of retailers that carry digi cams. Interesting that consumers must classify digi cams more as consumer electronics than a "photography" product, otherwise they would probably go to their camera store in greater numbers. And they are carried in the office supply stores, next to the computers... Wish I knew what was up with SanDisk. Flat sales, too much inventory, and empty retail shelves? I wonder if others could check inventories in their areas, and post. Sounds like a (severe) operations problem, if our small sample is representative. John
