Pravin, Re: Perhaps we have moved out from under Intel's umbra and into its penumbra.

Some time ago AMD was trading 50% below Intel's stock price over several months. Now it's trading at 75% of Intel's stock price and the price difference is below $9. Things have certainly changed.

BTW, did you notice that AMD will speak at the Goldman Sachs technology conference tomorrow:

could AMD's recent strong support at 24 largely artificial, thanks to the buyback program? Either way, I'm not complaining. It's nice to have a little help in this downdraft environment. I wonder if there's an opportunity for put selling here (betting on the buyback to suppress downside volatility, esp against such low volume)
