Yep, like i have speculated the other day..catalouges, specialty retailers are topping or have topepd have topped... I have not been impressed with the earnings i have seen and valuations, PE's etc. cannot justify these prices in a recesssionary eniv.

Protein Design breaks even in fourth quarter

FREMONT, Calif., Feb 13 (Reuters) - Protein Design Labs Inc. (NASDAQ NM:PDLI) on Tuesday reported break-even fourth-quarter results on a per-share basis, compared with Wall Street expectations for a loss amid higher royalty payments and fees.

Protein Design, which specializes in developing humanized antibodies to prevent or treat disease, said it reported a loss of $51,000, or nil cents a diluted share, in the fourth quarter, on revenues of $17.6 million, compared with a net loss of $5.9 million, or 16 cents a share, on revenues of $8.1 million in the same quarter in 1999.

Wall Street analysts on average had expected the company to post a loss of 7 cents a share for the quarter, according to First Call/Thomson Financial.
