Good point, Joseph. The larger problem is getting people to pay for content. The streaming media companies operate on the assumption that at some level of affordable network speeds and quality narrowcasting, people will be willing to pay for the convenience of anything-on-demand. The staggering size of the potential global market is sufficient to keep these companies in the hunt; although, as you point out, that may take some more time.. By the way, those copyright issues may further be complicated by the expected strike by the creative guilds later this year.
