You are assuming the answer.
Implicit simply means implied. If I can find a dozen people who differ from your opinion, that would suggest that empirically there are different views.

Are there things that are right or wrong no matter what a society thinks?

I doubt it. Who would make such a judgement? God? Which God? There are things I don't want to happen to me and by extension, I think it is a good idea that all people adhere to this conduct. That doesn't make it "right". It is still subjective.

If the Bible says something, that doesn't make it right. If the Torah, or Quran says something, that doesn't make it right. All we have is the consensus of our peers. Godel demonstrated that no system can prove its own correctness. That applies to Gods and men if logic means anything (which it may not). I just want to create a world where there is less suffering because I don't like suffering myself.

Even physics, our most powerfully predictive science, has demonstrated that things are only true to degree and in specific cases. There is just no way around it (probably) because it is in the fabric of the universe that things are that way. I know you believe otherwise but there is really no proof any of us can offer the other to demonstrate the truth of our respective positions. Again, that is the fabric of the universe and seems to support my viewpoint.
