Lizzie -- does the market look "expensive" to you? That seems to be the issue now and there are varying opinions.

lizzie, thanks for seeing that there IS a relation to # of workers and stock price. i understood your point, though. layoffs don't necessarily mean stock prices drop. sometimes they go up. however, when you have a company growing at 30-40% with a big valuation and they lay off 1000s of folks - my bet is that ain't good for the stock price.

but, hey... amzn hit $40 or $50 billion in valuation with a bunk business plan - anything can happen. it probably won't, though.
