John, Not enough flash shipped, not enough flash ordered, whatever... How can this be happening at all with $98 million in flash inventory? Maybe SanDisk finished qualifying its 256Mb/D2 chips for its telecom customers, overbuilt PCMCIA cards this Fall and early Winter and didn't have enough flash left over for CompactFlash and MMC for the retail market. That would explain the apparent contradiction. Is SanDisk stuck with telecom OEM flash cards they can't sell at retail? That would be a huge error on somebody's part at SanDisk. I can't believe they could be that careless. Aus

I thought this was true, but wasn't convinced until I tried it myself. The SNDK raincheck slips at BestBuy actually don't work in your digital camera. One other thing... If you close your eyes you really can't tell the difference between Seven-Up and Bubble Up. Aus
