Are you referring to this?

I think SI Bob has misgivings about the "moderated" format in their current form. I don't think he believed that "moderating people off" threads with differing viewpoints is conducive to educating oneself or provoking thought. That type of censorship of threads is very ill-conceived, imo, is really a public acknowledgement that the basis for the thread premise cannot withstand the scrutiny of the open marketplace of ideas.

That happens to be my honest opinion. I don't see a "snide" comment in that entire post. Obviously you disagree. Not unexpected.

It seems to me that you basically told me to "shut up" on an unmoderated thread because you dislike my opinion.

bp,
You have already stated your opinion on the topic of moderated threads quite clearly, yet continue to post on them.
I respect your opinion but think the snide tone of the post to which I'm responding diminishes your point.

You referred me back to the post I made to Chis. Now I don't consider that "snide", and neither apparently did he. And your attempt to muzzle me certainly reinforces what was the basis of my original post on so-called "moderated" threads.
