Words to avoid, especially with the laws of today. lets start a list.

Best not use the word "conversation" in mixed company.
I believe you may need an older dictionary, I used the Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary of 1959. (new 40 years ago) conversation defined as

1. archaic a. an abiding. b. Manner of living, conduct.

2. Social Interchange, intercourse.

3. Sexual Intercourse.

4. Oral, and usually, informal and friendly interchange of views ... and on to 5 and 6.

This surprised me when someone told me they did not use the word "conversation" and then explained why. You have added "punter" to my list of no no words.
