Of course, there is the overshoot- which would give the bears a truly warm feeling about a possible bull run.

When the market stabilized at 2200, people integrated that level into their thinking. Another 400 points down is just a good buying opportunity.<g>

I swore last year I'd wait until the mantra became 'sell the rally'. I started hearing that late december/early jan. It's not as ingrained in thinking as 'buy the dip'.

I'm already hearing that 'sell the rally' is no longer the appropriate stance. Rather, accumulation on weakness of solid companies.
