However, this is what I have also read, on the net:

"I've seen it attributed to Einstein, but Alice Calaprice, author of The Quotable Einstein (Princeton 1996) assured me in an email today me that she has never heard of it. I've checked the usual sources (WESTLAW ALLNEWS, QUOTATIONS databases), but Einstein is the only source I've found. Does anybody know any better?"
