should we test recent lows, it becomes decision making time for the long term account. And no matter the amount of technical analysis applied, no matter the expertise level, there is no assurance that we turn north from this point, or go further south. This could possibly be the area where we start giving thought to incrementally establishing positions,,,,for the longer haul.

We've had a slew of warnings, revisions, a bubble or two popped, the parabolic removed (some may argue just a little more helium and we're there), one sector after another falling...i just don't think the market will go to zero...

we've had the interest rate adjustments, and a little patience for the effect to take place., maybe later this year.

meanwhile, will the intstitutions take this opportunity to build positions? We don't know that and we won't....

sounding like a broken CD once more...errrh dvd...

also, interesting section in the local paper discussing the collapse of the dot.coms,,,,the amount of lease returns as furniture and equipment are piling a little too high in storage...with more layoffs on the way as the available pool of potential employees increases....yet, there remains a shortage of skilled technicians...as Microsoft continues its hiring binge cherry picking the creme of the crop!
