Dave,

That 12-point short squeeze took place in about 10 minutes, if I recall. I suspect there are a lot of traders that can't handle a 12K loss in 10-minutes very well, equity wise or psychologically. However, the comment is mostly designed as a colorful warning of what can happen when you don't defend your positions against the unknown.

Dave do me a favor. Buy the book. The Farley kids need to eat <g>.
